Susquehanna Entertainment is an artist management and independent record company based in central-Pennsylvania under the leadership of manager Terry Selders. We work with talented and driven individuals to help them achieve their goals in the music industry. The record label is used to support the artists we manage as well as to promote the overall health of the local music scene.
Throughout the 1990's, under our previous name One Louder Management, we managed the very popular band, the Badlees. After releasing 3 full-length CDs on our own Rite-Off Records, the group was signed to Polydor/A&M Records. They toured the country and performed with a number of major artists, including Robert Plant & Jimmy Page, Bob Seger, Patty Griffin, The Allman Bros., and many more. Two of their songs reached national top-5 rock radio status.
After the Badlees years, we took a break, reemerging as Susquehanna Entertainment. In 2004, we released the Central-PA Christmas Compilation CD. It was very well received locally, with strong sales and airplay on most of the major pop & rock radio stations in the region. The band Grantham Road grew out of that project and was signed to management. We created the Thursday After Work concert series in 2006 as a promotional tool for the group. By the end of that year, however, the band was dropped from our roster and promotion of the Christmas CD was wrapped up. 2007 was inactive for the company due to a family emergency.
In 2008, we are returning to management. Several album projects are already in the works for 2009.
The Susquehanna Entertainment label is distributed exclusively by Burnside Distribution.
