I have officially joined The Perfect 5th Musical Arts Center (P5) as their Associate Director and Music Business Instructor (I had been doing this as a consultant). That’s a great thing – I love it at P5 – but it also means that Susquehanna Entertainment is now inactive, with the one exception that Phil Freeman’s Lone Wolf Project CD, Old Words, New Chapters, will remain on the label for now. I am continuing to work with Phil and see him often as he is now doing some vocal coaching at The Perfect 5th. The Perfect 5th Musical Arts Center (P5), located at 6240 Carlisle Pike in Mechanicsburg, PA will host their Fall Open House on Sunday, September 9th from 2pm-5pm. This event will give the community an opportunity to network with other musicians, meet the teachers and staff at P5 and enjoy performances from some of the school’s talented instructors. Attendees will also be able to gain information regarding programs and services offered at The Perfect 5th. Light refreshments will be provided.

Several classes will be starting this fall. Quickstart Guitar, billed as the “ultimate beginner rock guitar class,” is the first new program. Sessions begin on September 24th and will consist of eight weekly, hour-long classes designed to teach students the building blocks of rock guitar and get them playing their instruments fast. Veteran guitar teacher Rod Goelz will be the instructor for this and several other programs that will be announced soon.
